Viper TA Takes On 1000HP Nissan GT-RThe DriverMod Viper TA is unleashed! That’s right – it is not chained to a dyno this time – it’s taking it to the streets against another radically modified beast of an automobile. Aptly named “Godzilla”, the Nissan GT-R is one of the most feared machines on the street. As a bonus, they are running against a stock Honda CBR1000 motorcycle.

As seen a few days ago on DragTimes, the Viper TA engine is stock with an intake manifold upgrade, exhaust headers, and a 250 shot of Nitrous Outlet giggling gas. It is riding on CCW C12 racing wheels and Mickey Thompson drag radials. Output is estimated at 880whp. The well heeled GT-R has an SIR tuned, Ronnie Crawford built engine with souped-up turbochargers, and an EcuTek controller. This is good, clean, competitive heads-up roll racing.

NOTE: We neither condone nor encourage racing on public streets.
