Whipple Cadillac vs. E85 Mustang GT – 50 to 150 Street Hits

April 18th, 2024

Round man Frank is making the street racing scene once again. This time he has located a grudge race between a Cadillac and a Ford. Big Frank has a nose for speed. He seeks out the best street racing action in Mexico and documents the action. Brace yourself.

Tonight, we have a modified Cadillac CTS-V with a Whipple blower and all the necessary accoutrements. The stock CTS-V comes with an all-aluminum 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that can churn out 640hp and 630 lb.-ft. of torque. This rear-wheel drive sedan features an 8-speed automatic transmission and tips the scale at 4,141-pounds. The stock Caddy could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8-seconds and turn the standing quarter-mile in 11.6-seconds @ 121 mph. With the current modifications, this Cadillac sounds amazing.

In the other lane is the sixth-gen Ford Mustang GT. A rear-wheel drive coupe, the Mustang is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 engine capable of producing 460hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque in stock trim. When equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission, the 3,705-pound Mustang GT can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3-seconds and eclipse the 1320 in 11.7-seconds @ 124 mph. It has full bolt-ons and an E85 tune.

Listen carefully, when these two hit the interstate, they will be singing a sweet song.
