1200HP Shelby GT500 Dyno Run

September 16th, 2015

Check out the heavily modified KP Performance Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 as it gets put through the paces on the dynamometer. The Big Blue Oval may not be known for mind-numbing power but this is one mean ‘Stang. The first dyno pass nets 1,012hp and 1.047 lb.-ft. of torque. After a few tweaks, it manages 1.027hp and 1,176 lb.-ft. of torque. By the way, it is running on E85 fuel. This pony has a Kenne Bell Mammoth supercharger, L&M built 5.0-liter small block Ford engine (bored and Darden sleeved to 5.4-liters) with Diamond pistons, and a 200 shot of nitrous. Read More

Drag Racing Huracan vs 918 Spyder

September 9th, 2015

These are two seriously elite supercars and they are lining up head-to-head on a closed airstrip for a one-mile race with a rolling start. Both cars begin rather timidly and proceed gently to 60 mph – then all hell breaks loose! The Lamborghini leaps out in front of the Porsche and scampers down the track at a break-neck pace. Around 140 mph the 918 overtakes the Lambo and leaves him in his wake. As you probably know, the Huracan is Lamborghini’s newest creation. It features all-wheel drive, a 602hp V10 engine, and a price tag of $240k, or about $4,000 Read More

12 Year Old Boy drives McLaren 650S to 163 MPH

August 31st, 2015

Take a look at this video of a 12-year old boy behind the wheel of the McLaren 650S super car on a closed airstrip for a 1/2 mile racing event. Given the opportunity, I am not sure that a lot of 12-year old kids could (or would) post a speed of 163.5 mph! That is exactly what this young man did in McMinville, Oregon. Some might say this youngster is brave, extremely lucky or not old enough to know the difference. He is lucky to not only have a dad that owns a McLaren 650S, but a dad that will allow him Read More

World’s Fastest Diesel Pickup 172MPH Duramax

July 31st, 2015

This video lets you ride along (and watch) with Owen Powell (driver and chief technician) and the crew at Duramaxtuner as they set a new record for diesel trucks in the Texas Mile. After experiencing some issues with torque converter lockup, the crew gets this stock looking pickup back on track and sets the record on the first day of testing. Day two Owen and the guys continue to fight the rigors associated with running a vehicle at full-throttle for a solid mile, but they manage to pull out a new record pass of 172.2 mph. Great job guys! Drag Race: Bugatti Veyron SS vs. Porsche 918 Spyder

June 15th, 2015

From the moment that you hear the 918 driver gleefully exclaim, “Let’s get this #*@!%#@$”, you know that you are in for a hard fought drag race. Face it there are not too many cars that are going to take the hole shot away from a Porsche 918 Spyder. If there is one car that is capable, then it just might be the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (world record top-speed production car). As expected, the Porsche grabs the initial advantage (at least in the first pass) and holds on until the 1320-foot mark in a desperate grab for victory. The Porsche Read More

Street Racing: NOS/Supercharged Camaro ZL1 vs. Viper T/A

May 29th, 2015

Check out this contest of speed that begins as a 60 mph rolling race and morphs into a Snake show. With advertised horsepower ratings being a little “flexible” where street racers are concerned, it should come as no surprise when a 632HP car overcomes a 750HP car on an apparently deserted stretch of highway. That is the case in this video from That Racing Channel. The Camaro appears to gain the early edge but the Viper is having none of it; coming back to take the victory in the end. We neither condone or encourage racing on public streets. The Read More

Ride Along in a Porsche 918 @ 218 MPH on the Autobahn

May 7th, 2015

Put your safety belts on and place your seat backs in the upright position. These familiar words signify time for take-off and this Porsche hypercar is certainly about to take-off. The driver is chasing a 1140-horsepower Koenigsegg Agera R, to no avail I might add, and the videographer is strapped into the passenger seat giving us an incredible view. The Porsche 918 Spyder utilizes a 4.6-liter internal combustion engine and a series of electric motors to generate 887-horsepower. It can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.2-seconds with an estimated top speed of 214 mph. As you can Read More
