700HP AWD Civic Taking It to the Streets

July 22nd, 2015

Check out this clip! If you really want to get the jump on the competition, try switching to all-wheel drive. This innovative cat salvaged the traction-happy components from an earlier model Honda vehicle, and then did whatever was necessary to deliver 700hp and 583-lb.-ft. of torque to the four corners. He certainly gets out of the “roll” quicker than the 1,000hp Mustang Fox but can’t hold the Ford off at the midway point. By Brooks Weisblat Carey Bales recently shattered our record book for an Honda S2000 running a 9.99 @ 141.89 MPH his 2004 Honda S2000 Turbo at Indianapolis Raceway Park, IN. Using a single GT37r turbo and an AEM engine management system, this car is pushing over 680 HP to the wheels via a PPG Transmission. Additional driveline strengthening was done by upgrading the rear end as well as using a DSS driveshaft and axles.
