Street Racing Spectacular – Import vs. Domestic

September 4th, 2017

There is literally something for every street racing enthusiast in this video! Of course, there are tons of fast cars in every size and shape – imports and domestics, turbo and nitrous, standard and automatic. There are dig and roll races (sometimes 3-wide). There’s even a wreck and a fight (sort of).

The backdrop is beautiful (New) Mexico and its flat landscape. It’s perfect for street racing.

There is a bodacious DSM (1990s Mitsubishi Eclipse or Eagle Talon) that is capable of 1,000hp – from a stock 2.0-liter engine with over 100K miles.

You know that there were tons of Camaros (a Trans Am, too), Corvetttes, and Mustangs on hand but there were also some 700 – 800hp Subarus and a bad looking (700hp) Olds Cutlass from the ‘80s.

Then you have the killer looking BMW Turbo Coupe that wrecks out with the camera guy on board. He good news is that nobody got hurt. The bad news is that the Beamer needs a new rim and something is bent under the left rear. Ouch!

There is more street racing action in this clip than I can describe here. Take a gander for yourself.
