Street Stampede Import vs. Domestic

August 10th, 2015

Street Stampede Import vs DomesticThis epic battle between two potent street machines is reported to have been a long-time in the making. This time the racing is of the “dig” variety, making strategy even more important. While this is indeed a battle between import and domestic, it could also be classified as a contest between a classic sports car and a modern supercar. It is one that involves an older Fox Body Mustang and a late-model Nissan GT-R.

Both these competitors have radically modified their proverbial steeds. The Fox Body has a built, balanced, and blueprinted small block Chevy with a healthy assist from a shot of nitrous. The Nissan GT-R was prepared with an Iveytune, from Ivey Technologies, in Linden, New Jersey. The estimated power output for the GT-R is 800hp and it proves to be a little more than the Mustang can handle (on this night) in this contest that includes a small cash purse.

NOTE: We neither condone nor encourage racing on public streets.
