Porsche 991 Turbo S Quarter-Mile Record

October 21st, 2017

In proving their continued commitment to building the fastest cars on the planet, EKanoo Racing (from the beautiful Kingdom of Bahrain) has inked themselves a new entry in the world record book of quarter-mile drag racing.

With a lot of help from ESMotor (also of the Kingdom of Bahrain), these skilled racing aficionados managed to accomplish what no one ever had – on 1320-feet of asphalt. They built and raced a Porsche 991 Turbo S from a standing start through the trap in 8.993-seconds at a top speed of 160.7 mph.

What a way to kick-off the new racing season in this mystical land. There is no telling what is in store as this skilled team of race car engineers continues to add to what could already be described as a myriad of racing world records.

While the temperatures can be extremely hot in this far-away land, the EKanoo Racing team has access to some of the finest facilities, resources, and personnel in the racing world. These guys are on the cutting edge when it comes to the development of turbocharged horsepower.

Congratulations EKanoo Racing and ESMotor!
