Porsche 991 PDK Turbo S – Quarter-Mile World Record

September 11th, 2018

You gotta love an 8-second daily driver with a luxurious Corinthian leather interior, air conditioning, power steering, power windows, and all the typical accoutrement. With key modifications by AIM Performance and ESMOTOR (Istanbul, Turkey), this is a German beauty that performs as well as she looks.

Under the bonnet is an ESMOTOR 1000 Package (Garrett GTX35 turbos) tuned by AIM Performance. The car has all the bolt-ons, a Syveks Titanium exhaust system and Syveks ECU upgrade with a stock PDK transmission and Dodson clutches. The wheels are forged HRE R101 LWs wrapped in Mickey Thompson E/T Street SS rubber. Listen, these wheels alone are worth watching this video. They are the real deal.

This is a single pass video with the Porsche making a bye run. This thing leaves the line violently – almost clearing the front tires. It comes out of the hole straight and consistent and blasts through the sixty-foot like a missile (1.42-seconds). After driving this car 2-hours to the raceway, the driver manages an 8.8-second pass at 158.89 mph.

Nice job and congratulations on the new Porsche 991 Quarter-Mile World Record! You need to upgrade the license plate.
