Tonight, we have a working man’s drag race. Both these vehicles are designed to get the job done. This evening, the job will be getting through the eighth-mile faster than your opponent. The contest will take place on the streets (of Mexico) – now, run tell dat!

In the left lane is the smoke pusher. It’s a Ford F-250 with a 6.0-liter Powerstroke diesel and a healthy dose of nitrous.

A 2022 Ford F-150 with a (Whipple) supercharged 5.0-liter gas motor is on the right. The F-150 is also running the Whipple tune.

Both trucks have full interior, and both are running street tires.

Roundman Frank delivers the arm drop and these trucks accelerate wildly. As expected, the diesel on the laughing gas takes an early advantage. Just when you thought it was over for the F-150, he hooked up and drove around the big truck for the win. Great race!

Multiple passes on this one. Flagman issues, law enforcement involvement and communication issues abound. Enjoy.
