Mustang Boss 302 vs. Vette Z06 – Street Hits

June 26th, 2018

What’s better than street racing on the wide open interstates (of Mexico)? Why, roll racing 3-wide down the interstate into the cool night air of course.

Theses competitive drivers know how to get down where the rubber meets the road. Their cars have been purpose-built for roll racing and the pilots are ready to put it all on the line. All that’s left is to fuel up and roll out.

Our first contest is a triple play between a 620hp Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, a 635hp Cadillac CTS-V sedan, and a 570hp turbocharged Pontiac Trans Am. ZL1 FTW!

Next, we have a Ford Mustang GT500, a C6 Corvette with a camshaft upgrade, and a Camaro SS with a built 408 cubic-inch stroker motor. In multiple passes, the Mustang outclasses the competition.

The Mustang GT500 rolls out against the SS Camaro with the 408 and a GenVI Camaro 1LE. Again, in multiple passes, the Ford is just too hot to handle.

Finally, a capable Mustang Boss 302 (Paxton supergharger) goes against a Corvette Z06 with a 200-shot of nitrous. Check out the video to see if the Mustang remains undefeated on the night.
