Before y’all go jumping in my crap about this very catchy title, several points are accurate. There is a Coyote 5.0-liter engine in the Mustang (with two-turbochargers) and this hot handful of street racing is coming to you from the streets of Texas, Mexico. The Coyote, on the other hand, is far less than dominant in most of these contests.

The Mustang, it seems, is equipped with a lower gear than the Imports and Chevrolets featured in this video, on this night. It grabs the hole shot in most of these roll racing bouts but comes up short towards the end. This is not a terrible malady (as maladies are concerned); it’s nothing that a ring gear and pinion swap won’t fix. I would be willing to bet that the P51 fighter Mustang would give these cars a much better race from a dig than a roll. Still, if you’re gonna’ hit the streets and take on whatever comes along, you might want to opt for a quick change rear differential. Sometimes you have to spend a little to win a lot.

Regardless of who wins and loses, multiple GoPro cameras and numerous angles, make this a can’t miss clip for every racing aficionado.
