Street Hits – Mustang Shelby GT350 vs VW GTI Turbo and Coyote Mustang

January 12th, 2022

This video is taking it to the streets for some roll racing action. Featured in this clip is a Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 with an assortment of aftermarket performance bolt-ons. Tonight, the GT350 will be taking on a radically modified Volkswagen GTI and a Coyote Powered Mustang. Let’s get to it!

The Shelby GT350 is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 engine nicknamed VooDoo. It is capable of producing 526hp and 429 lb.-ft. of torque.

The GT350 will begin the evening by rolling out against a blue VW that sounds like an angry bumble bee. It is turbocharged, modified and tuned for performance. This race is for $200 and will go from 60 mph to 140 mph. The two cars come out neck-and neck at the jump before the VW spools up and takes the advantage. Pains me to say – VW for the win.

Next up is the Coyote powered Mustang with a carbon-fiber front fenders. It’s running E85 fuel. This one will be a $400 pot from 60mph to 140 mph. Both cars come off the jump strong, but the Coyote car suddenly falls back. Mechanical failure? It’s anyone’s guess. In multiple hits, the Shelby car out muscles the Coyote car mercilessly.

Good, clean street racing action from down in Mexico.
