It is imports versus domestics in this high intensity showdown on the streets of Mexico. Chevys, Fords, Nissans, BMWs and Toyotas have been purpose-built to take on the streets. Now, they are fueled-up, tuned-up and ready to roll as the fourth watch of the night ascends. Giddy-up!

The first race of the evening pits a pair of Mustangs against one another. The red car is turbocharged, and the white car has a Paxton blower. A countdown erupts as the cars pull alongside and synchronize speed. Suddenly, both cars accelerate wildly and lunge ahead.  Oops! The Paxton car ran away from the turbo car after a clutch/flywheel malfunction.

Race two delivers a contest between a Nissan 300ZX with a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine (2JZ Toyota motor) and a twin turbo (ON3) Mustang. Whoa! That 300Z is fast. He dusts the TT Mustang with ease. Not even close.

The same TT Mustang takes on a supercharged Corvette Z06 in the next race. This one is even worse. The Corvette is out of the zip code in the blink of an eye. The ‘Vette looks great, too.

TT Mustang tackles a BMW next. Any predictions?
