All the local heavy hitters are lined up for this evening of intense street (roll) racing action from south of the border. This video tales us down to Old Mexico for some insane street hits.

The first matchup of the evening pits a C5 Corvette with a 5.3-liter engine, a Precision 88-millimeter turbo and a Bully TH400 automatic transmission against a Pontiac WS6 Trans Am with a built 6.0-liter motor and a Borg Warner turbo. Despite claiming 1,200hp, the Poncho falls victim to the C5 before blowing his motor and making quite a mess.

Next is a race between a Chevy SS sedan (7.0-liter V8 and a 92-millimeter turbo) and a Ford Mustang GT350 with a Hellion turbo kit. This one is too close for me to call.

Race number three is between a Corvette ZR1 (with upgraded cylinder heads and camshaft and a Kong ported) and a small block mustang with a 72-millimeter turbocharger. You won’t believe how this one shakes out.

The racing gets even hotter when the imports show up.
