Ride Along – 1000HP R34 Nissan GT-R

February 9th, 2018

Greetings racing fans and speed aficionados of every degree. Welcome to the GT-R World Cup at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida.

On hand are more than one-hundred Nissan GT-R entries. R33, R34, and R35 cars are everywhere and world records are expected to fall. Team Alpha Performance (Gidi) and T1 Race Development (Tony Palos) are on hand with their 2,500+hp cars and they are looking to shave more time from their latest 6-second passes. Hold onto your hats – it’s going to be a wild one!

On a side note: Tony Palos R35 GT-R has a wide body kit on it that is over the top. This thing looks awesome and ready to take down some world records.

A wild one it was – on the track at least – but this video brings us a ride along in a particularly stunning R34 GT-R. There is also bonus coverage of a ride along in an oddly placed Lamborghini Huracan (1,200hp). This is a car that could ruin the day of a GT-R owner in about 10-seconds flat.

Baby-faced Christian is treated to the ride along (on the streets of Mexico) in a 1,000hp (dialed back to approximately 750hp for the street) JDM R34 Nissan GT-R (factory turbocharger location). This car is done in a perfect shade of blue and put together with meticulous attention to detail. It’s fast as a bullet and Christian seems moderately impressed. Have a look.
