In this video, these two “Bahn-Burners” are holding nothing back in a close 1/4-mile run. For decades the BMW M-Sport moniker has been synonymous with outstanding performance but as of late, Audi has also carved out a niche of its own. The BMW is an M6 Grand Coupe and the Audi is an RS7 Sportback. Let’s take a closer look.
The Grand Coupe is amply equipped with a 560-horsepower 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.1-seconds.
The RS7 Sportback features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that also makes 560-horsepower. It is mated with a performance tuned eight-speed automatic and an all-wheel drivetrain. Zero to sixty is accomplished in just 3.7-seconds with a top-speed of 174 mph.
