This contest will be a dig race between two cars with similar horsepower specs. The Audi is an all-wheel drive coupe and the McLaren is rear-wheel drive but the R8 outweighs the 570S by more than 400-pounds. With 610hp, the R8 bolts from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6-seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. The Audi uses a naturally aspirated, 5.2-liter, V10 engine. McLaren has chosen to go with a smaller, twin turbocharged, 3.8-liter, V8 engine that is capable of producing 562hp. This ought to be a good one.

As the drivers assume their respective positions, they share their opinions about the vehicles, then buckle up for some head-to-head action. The starter gives the signal and the Audi jumps out front by a small margin. Surprisingly, it remains that way until the finish with the McLaren getting beaten by the narrowest of margins.
