900HP Audi Sedan – 9-Second Street Sleeper

September 8th, 2020

As a veteran street racer, nothing cranks my tractor quite like a street sleeper. The Audi featured in this video is a prime example of what a street sleeper – one that makes 900hp and cranks out 9-second quarter mile passes at will.

With a complete interior, air conditioning and premium audio, this 2018 Audi RS3 is a daily driver. Under the hood of this all-wheel drive sedan is a turbocharged 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. In factory trim, the RS3 makes 400hp and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5-seconds. Obviously, the car featured in this video has been dramatically modified for performance purposes. These mods include a built and sleeved motor, turbocharger system upgrades, ECU tuning, exhaust system enhancements and engine intake system mods. Maximum output for this tiny monster is 900hp and it posts consistent (quarter mile) elapsed times of 9-seconds. The turbo has been upgraded to a Xona Rotor 8264.

The video opens with a documented street his that ends in a quarter mile pass of 9.76-seconds @ 148.59 mph.

Today’s racing venue is the Kansas Airstrip Attack. This is a half-mile course designed to measure top speed from a rolling start.

So, let’s get to racing!
