Big Block Swapped Jaguar – 1,000HP Street Sleeper Sedan

May 7th, 2021

Now this is a very bad kitty. The next time that you pull alongside a grandpa in a Jaguar sedan, use your best judgement before you romp on the throttle and challenge him to a race. You may well run up against a crazy car enthusiast like John. This grandpappy has taken a 1970 Jaguar XJ6 and mutated it into a genuine street beast.

Under the hood of this “silver bullet” is a 540 cubic-inch Dart motor. That means an aluminum block with a forged crankshaft and pistons, along with powder connecting rods. The cylinder heads are custom fabricated. Everything about this exotic beauty is top notch. That includes the 300hp shot of nitrous hiding in the trunk. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic and the rear-end is a posi-trac Ford 9-inch. The entire suspension is custom designed to handle the curves as well as the straights. John claims a best quarter-mile of 9.85-seconds @ 145 mph. He says that the car is good to go coast-to-coast on a moment’s notice. The license plate appropriately reads “V12 EATR”.

This thing is an absolute monster. Climb in and let John treat you to a wild ride in his big block Jag.
