What the …? This great looking Ford Mustang doesn’t have a built 429 Cobra Jet and there’s no turbocharged 5.3-liter LS motor. Instead, this little American beauty has a junkyard Toyota Supra 2JZ-GTE thrashing about under the hood. What’s even more interesting is that this thing made it all the way to the semi-final round of the Kansas City F-Body Event.

The 2JZ-GTE is an inline 6-cylinder and the one in this pony car is bone stock. A massive 76-millimeter turbocharger does most of the work. It is accompanied by a Pro EFI controller and power is transferred to the rear skins via a Turbo Hydramatic 400 automatic GM transmission. This is one unique car with a ton of potential.
