Tesla P90D Street Racing – Roll and Dig Domination

These days, the Porsche 918 is the king of the hill when it comes to hybrid cars (and cars in general, I guess) but when you talk about full on EV power, the name Tesla seems to remain at the forefront.

We’ve all grown accustomed to seeing Tesla P90D sedans, dragging the four-wheeled competition in Ludicrous mode, particularly in dig races. Now, with improved top-end capability, this driver is ready to take on modified street bikes and cars in full on roll racing action.

The P90D takes on a GSXR 600 with exhaust mods, intake mods, and a performance tune in the first contest. After multiple passes; it’s too close for me to call – you have a look. Next up is a C7 Corvette with a Paxton supercharger against a bigger street bike (also seen near the end of the first contest). Now, we have a dig race between the Tesla and a very brave guy in a LS3 equipped Corvette with a nitrous shot. Teslas are extremely quick out of the hole but the ‘Vette makes a race out of it at the end. There are a couple of bonus races between two souped up Nissan GT-Rs and a DSM Evo as well.
