Even with a stock (not sleeved) engine block, this compact sedan can claim the title for first IS300 to ever post a 7-second quarter-mile (7.8-seconds). The motor is a stock 2JZGE, which is one of the inline 6-cylinder bottom-ends originally used by Lexus.
