It just doesn’t get much better than this; here is a classic street battle between Ford and Chevy. The action is coming at you from an industrial park – on a dead-end thoroughfare. The ‘Vette makes a great first impression as it comes on strong, looking like a beast during warm-ups. The Mustang comes out of the hole with cold tires and walks the track to win the first pass. In the second pass, it seems that the Chevy has made some tuning changes and defeats the Shelby handily. The only thing missing is a third and final pass for posterity.

The GT500 has a supercharged 5.8-liter engine and makes 662hp from the factory. It is also equipped with some aftermarket mods. The C6 has a Magnuson supercharger.
