More talent from the left coast is what we have tonight. Shawn from Autotopia LA delivers again with a 1,000HP (820whp) Cadillac CTS-V – and it’s a sedan. Let’s swoop in and get a closer look.

Starting under the hood, this Caddy has a supercharged LT4 6.2-liter V8 engine. The bottom end remains stock, but that includes a forged rotating assembly. The camshaft has been upgraded along with the blower lid. The LT4 cylinder heads and supercharger have been (Kong) ported. A methanol injection system was also added. This contributes to intake air density. The exhaust is catless (off-road use only). That includes American Racing longtube headers, strategically placed x-pipes and Stainless Works out the back. It sounds like thunder. The automatic transmission is reinforced with heavy-duty clutch packs good to 1,000hp.

The wheels are from Weld Racing, and they are wrapped in Mickey Thompson rubber. Factory suspension and steering systems include Magnetic Ride.

Inside, luxurious Cadillac accoutrement abounds. Heated and cooled seating is plush leather, and the stock headliner is suede. Premium climate control and audio features remain intact.

Only subtle modifications have been performed on the exterior. The front lip spoiler is carbon fiber as are the rockers and the rear spoiler. Chrome delete is obvious.
