January 9th, 2024

Getting back in them streets, we find a grudge race between a pair of modified machines. Both vehicles rely heavily on forced air induction systems, and both are knocking the cover plum off the ball in the street game. Have a look.

The 2022 Porsche 911 Turbo S (in white) is a rear-engine all-wheel drive monster from Germany. In factory trim, the Porsche features a twin turbocharged (and intercooled) all-aluminum 3.7-liter engine that can manage 640hp at peak RPM. The 3,646-pound 911 Turbo S can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.2-seconds and turn the standing quarter-mile in 10.1-seconds @ 137 mph. Top speed for the stock Porsche is 205 mph. It uses an 8-speed PDK transmission. The Porsche in this video has been modified with a high-performance exhaust, a 93-octane tune and a PDK tune. He’s now claiming 720whp.

In the other lane is the 4,100-pound 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 motor. This car could make 650hp from the factory. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. The bad Cad is modified with a Kong 2650 blower and all the supporting hardware. He has performance exhaust, an E85 tune and drag slicks. The owner is claiming 900whp.

It’s time to open the barn door and let all these ponies run.
