Kong Ported Cadillac CTS-V vs. Big Turbo Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

October 12th, 2023

What we have here is a grudge race on the streets (of Mexico). Tonight, a pair of luxury cars – from different sides of the planet – will lock horns in a contest of pure speed and acceleration. It’s roll racing in the cool night air.

The 2012 Cadillac CTS-V coupe is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. In factory trim, this car is rated at 556hp and 551 lb.-ft. of torque. Now it has been modified to improve performance. Mods include a built engine and transmission, Kong Performance supercharger porting, oversize fuel injectors, methanol injection and an E85 tune. Current maximum output is dyno tested at 900hp.

Challenging the Caddy is a 2017 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG sedan with a twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that can produce 469hp and 479 lb.-ft. of torque in stock condition. The C63 featured in this video has been upgraded with a Pure Turbo 1000 kit, aftermarket intake manifolds, a built transmission and performance exhaust downpipes (catless?). It’s also tuned to burn E50 fuel. Max output is estimated to be 830hp.

Time to get these bad feelings out on the interstate and make everything all better.
