Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye vs. Mercedes-Benz C63 S AMG With Turbo Mods

May 20th, 2020

In this clip the competitors are taking it to the dragstrip for a test between import and domestic horsepower. High-quality, handcrafted German ingenuity is well represented in the Mercedes-Benz C63 S AMG. The domestic beast is none other than the most powerful American performance vehicle ever mass produced – the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye.

The C63 S AMG comes off the assembly line with a 4.0-liter twin turbocharged V8 engine that can produce 503hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7-seconds and blow through the quarter mile in 11.9-seconds at 122 mph. This particular coupe has been modified with turbocharger upgrades, a performance exhaust downpipe, a cold air intake and air filters and ECU tuning. Current maximum output is estimated at 800hp.

The Dodge Hellcat Redeye is legendary. With a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 HEMI under the hood, the Redeye can churn out 797hp (on race gas) and 707 lb.-ft. of torque. The Challenger Hellcat Redeye can blast from 0 to 60 in 3.7-seconds and make a quarter mile in 11.8-seconds at 125 mph. This should be a great race!

After plenty of trash talk, the two cars lineup for burn outs. After the C63 has traction issues, it is decided that it will start with an advantage. The competitors get lined up and the Hellcat does its thing. Round one to the domestics. After a better burnout, the Mercedes gets traction and takes it home for the win in round two.

They’re all knotted-up at one apiece – who will win round three and take home the overall victory? Check out the video to find out.
