Modified BMW M4 vs. BMW M1000RR Superbike – Drag Race

February 1st, 2024

Someone is about to get frostbite. Between the bitterly cold ambient temperature and the breeze-wake that these extraordinarily fast machines can leave behind, it’s inevitable.

What we have here are two machines from the came automaker. While they are both manufactured with a similar degree of craftsmanship, they are very different in design.

The four-wheeler is the BMW M4. This 3,913-pound coupe features a turbocharged 503hp inline six-cylinder engine and all-wheel drive from the factory. Obviously, the Beemer will need more than that to hang with that street bike. Modifications to the BMW M4 include an upgraded turbo kit, high-performance exhaust, forged engine internals, built transmission and custom tuning. This Bavarian now has more than 1,000hp to the wheels. The suspension, steering and brakes have also been upgraded.

In the other lane is a horse of a different color, so to speak. This superbike is a cut above your average two-wheeler. At a curb weight of only 425-pounds, this motorcycle can create 212hp. Sure, the rider adds a few pounds, but the power-to-weight ratio remains high.

Let’s get these two BMWs lined up and see who wants it more.
