200HP Superbike vs. 1000HP Turbo MK4 Supra – Drag Race

August 3rd, 2022

What has six wheels, 1200hp and weigh less than two tons? The combination of a big turbo Supra and a race grade street bike. Let’s take a closer look.

The two-wheeler is an Aprilia RSV4 RF. This thing is cobbled together from a 2013 frame, a 2016 rear swingarm and 2017 electronics. Oh, the body panels are also from a 2017. Premium production components for the RSV4 RF include Olins suspension and Brembo brakes. Built by the lead dog of the Aprilia Racing pack, this superbike is making approximately 200hp and top speed is 197 mph.

In the other lane is Moe’s Mark 4 Toyota Supra. Looking like Popeye, the Supra has a turbo intake port in place of the right headlamp. Carbon fiber accents are visible all over the exterior. Moe (an infamous New York liar) says the car is bone stock. Further investigation reveals an E85 fuel setup in the trunk, lightweight Lexan back glass, an enormous turbocharger and a built 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder motor. The transmission is a Tremec T-56 manual 6-speed. Despite the big racing slicks on the rear, Moe claims that he doesn’t drag race. Right.

On the agenda for today are a series of 1000-foot drag races. Buckle-up, tis is gonna be a wild one!
