In Speed We Trust – 2500HP GT-R vs 600HP Hyabusa

May 15th, 2021

Coming at you from the Kansas Airstrip Attack, it’s SuperRowl 2021! On hand for this eagerly anticipated event is a 2,000hp Calvo Motorsports Viper, a 2,500hp T1 Race Development Nissan GT-R, a 1,500+hp Nissan GT-R build by Fabshop Miami, a 2,400hp Cicio Nissan GT-R and a 1,200hp IROZ Audi RS3 – just to name a few. There are also some lightning-fast bikes, including a 600hp Hyabusa. All races in this Class are from 60 mph to 180 mph with cameramen in the passenger seat. Keeping it street.

One of the biggest attractions of the event, a T1 GT-R blew a head gasket before he could take on his featured grudge opponent. That’s the way it goes. First your money, then your clothes. Better luck next time.

Next up was a Nissan GT-R making 1,300 (on motor only) with a 200hp shot of go-go juice. He’s going against a 1,200hp Audi RS3 sedan. The GT-R shows him the taillights before sliding off the end of the runway. Scary!

The Lambo Assassin is up next. This 2,700hp Nissan GT-R is running Precision 7685 turbos and methanol. He’s taking on an 1,800hp Dodge Viper built by Nth Moto. The all-wheel drive Nissan easily walks away from the Dodge posting a 2.67-second 60-130 mph number. What a beast.

This 200 mph madness goes on throughout the day. Have a look for yourself.
