Treat yourself to this rareified video that documents an extraordinarily diverse group of street racing machines racing during daylight hours. Most street races take place during cover of darkness but with public thoroughfares (in Mexico) basically deserted, this large group of heavy hitters decided to hookup in the sunshine. No social distancing laws were violated during the making of this clip. Enjoy.

The cameraman posts up in the passenger seat of the Indigo Blue Hellcat Redeye. It doesn’t take long to line up a race with a supercharged Camaro ZL1. It has been modified with a set of headers, a high-performance exhaust system, a pulley upgrade and a custom tune. It’s running premium pump gas. Both cars are making approximately 700whp. This should be a good race.

Despite a weight disadvantage of more 600-pounds, the Mopar walks away from the Chevy FTW. The Camaro was a manual transmission and the Dodge has an automatic.

Tons of really fast domestics and imports on this video. Porsche makes a great showing. There are some awesome GT-R entries and a bevy of BMW owners showed up. Overall, one of the best daytime street racing videos to date.
