California Dreamin’ – Street Rolls

March 9th, 2018

It’s back to the left coast again for a healthy dose of beautiful sunshine, sea air, and sand in our flip flops – er, no – what we seek is open interstate, gasoline fumes, and hot floorboards. That’s exactly what we got from this outstanding group of street (roll) racers, south of the border.

The action kicks off when the sun goes down with an all-wheel drive Honda CR-V that has been outfitted with a turbocharger. It has a 2.0-liter V-TEC engine and has undergone some basic weight reduction.

There’s a twin turbo Dodge Viper running E85. A pair of 69-millimeter turbochargers are cramming air into that massive V10 engine.

An innocent looking Mazda Miata Roadster sports a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 with exhaust headers. At only 2,500-pounds, this should be a real beast.

Next, there’s a 700hp Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. It is stock except for the bolt-ons, a camshaft upgrade, and E85 fuel. Looking good! The other CTS-V (a Sedan) has had a blower upgrade and a high performance camshaft.

We have a Dodge Neon, by Boost Monster Garage, making 580hp with a 62-millimeter turbocharger.

Last, but not least, we have  a bad Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with a ported blower and ported stock cylinder heads, full bolt-ons, running E85 fuel. This Heavy-Chevy will not disappoint.

There are many more cars on this clip. Check out the numerous street hits and great camera angles. Great video guys.
