1969 Plymouth Roid Runner – Million-Dollar Mopar Restomod

October 18th, 2023

Despite being registered as a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner, this million-dollar restomod is built totally from one-of-a-kind body panels. Keep in mind, as your eyes crawl across this amazing work of art, that every single body panel began life as a piece of flat sheet metal. Even the roof is custom tailored to this car. Only the grille retains its stock shape. It’s a labor of love that’s eight-years in the making – and it still ain’t finished. Making this thing go is a 392 HEMI V8 engine. Upgrades include Dart cylinder heads, a Bullet Racing camshaft and an Eagle Read More

Here is a 1,000-foot drag racing throwdown between an 820hp Cadillac CTS-V sedan and a 1,040hp Chevrolet Camaro SS. Obviously, both cars have been modified to enhance performance. 700HP LS Swapped BMW 6-Series Widebody

September 22nd, 2023

Our man Shawn (from Autotopia LA) was at Holley LS Fest in Bowling Green, Kentucky (home of the Corvette), when he ran across this spectacular LS swapped BMW. If you are a Beemer purist, don’t watch – it will give you nightmares. Otherwise, get a grip and hang on tight. This might be the baddest BMW you will ever see. Beginning under the hood (big surprise, right), there’s a supercharged 5.3-liter GM V8. This European hottie is running a stock bottom end with a Truck Norris camshaft, a full BTR rocker truniion kit and various Motion Raceworks bolt-ons. The power-adder Read More

Seahawks Silver 1968 Camaro Restomod

September 13th, 2023

One could safely assume that the owner of this Camaro is a football fan. The first clue is the Seattle Seahawks team colors all over the exterior and interior. Even the headlights are wrapped in a sickening shade of green (seahawk ain’t my team). If you look past the crazy color (Cortez Green with a flake of lime green pearl), what’s underneath is a street racer’s fantasy. The engine bay is surgically clean with an unexpected twist. It’s an E ROD! That’s right, an LSA supercharged 6.2-liter California compliant V8 motor capable of making 556hp. Complete with a color coordinated Read More

Izzy Performance 1000HP Chevy Colorado Street Stunner

September 5th, 2023

This killer Colorado is a must see build from Izzy Performance. You can’t talk about the SoCal street racing game without mentioning Izzy. No longer behind the wheel, he’s building quality race cars for friends and neighbors. You gotta see this one. Let’s start under the hood. You will find a supercharged Chevy LS9 V8 capable of producing 1,000hp (890whp). The blower is a 2650 from Kong Performance. Fuel delivery and engine management are handled with a Holley Dominator system. It likes E85 best, but the Flex Fuel feature allows for pump gas if you get in a bind. Oh, Read More

Rarebreed – 1000HP Cadillac CTS-V Sleeper

August 30th, 2023

More talent from the left coast is what we have tonight. Shawn from Autotopia LA delivers again with a 1,000HP (820whp) Cadillac CTS-V – and it’s a sedan. Let’s swoop in and get a closer look. Starting under the hood, this Caddy has a supercharged LT4 6.2-liter V8 engine. The bottom end remains stock, but that includes a forged rotating assembly. The camshaft has been upgraded along with the blower lid. The LT4 cylinder heads and supercharger have been (Kong) ported. A methanol injection system was also added. This contributes to intake air density. The exhaust is catless (off-road use Read More

World’s First 9-Second Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

August 25th, 2023

This short clip gives us a look into the Late Model Performance (LMP) shop. With permission to experiment with a 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, the things that these guys get up to are mind-blowing. Take a look. This Cadillac sedan comes to LMP bone stock. That includes a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 V8 engine that can make 598whp. With no access to tuning software (at the time), LMP began the mods by swapping out the stock blower with a Kong Ported unit. The pulley was kept stock and an LMP supercharger lid was installed. The next step was installation of a Read More

1965 Plymouth Drag Car Gets 800HP Redeye HEMI

August 23rd, 2023

So, we ran across EJ (and the Sick Mag crew) during grudge matches at Roadkill Nights. Fresh off a victory (of sorts) making her bones in a 1957 Chevy Nomad Gasser, she was testing her new build – a 1965 Plymouth Belvedere drag car. We zoomed in for a closer look. Already an established drag car, the Belvedere was stripped down after Mopar supplied the Sick boys with a brand-new supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat Redeye HEMI V8. Fresh out of the crate, the HEMI was upgraded with a better camshaft and valvetrain. The blower pulley was also upgraded. Next, the Sick Read More

750HP All-Motor 1970 HEMI ‘Cuda Sickfish

August 7th, 2023

First, a history lesson: this 1970 Plymouth Barracuda (owned by podcaster and television personality Joe Rogan) was originally built as a restomod by Troy Tepanier at Rad Rides. Please understand that Troy is a legend. Unfortunately, his genius was ahead of his time when the car was originally built more than twenty-years ago. Many of the styling cues used in the Sickfish design were forerunners to current trends. With that said, performance, suspension and handling options were primitive compared with today. Feeling the need to upgrade the Fish, Joe Rogan turned to the Roadster Shop (RS). Wise choice, Joe. Loving Read More
