800HP 2009 Cadillac CTS-V on Nitrous runs 10.32 @ 136.7 MPH

March 25th, 2010

The current generation Cadillac CTS-V with it’s Corvette ZR1 derived LSA motor pumping out 556HP was highly anticipated to be the baddest/fastest/quickest current 4 door sedan available. While it’s certainly powerful, the track numbers have always been kind of disappointing in stock form running low to mid 12’s in the 1/4 mile, something the Mercedes AMG sedans have been doing for years.

Of course knowing what it’s motor is capable of, pumping out 638HP in the ZR1, and even more when modified, the CTS-V was set for a nice rush of aftermarket performance support. The Vette Doctors took a 2009 CTS-V and installed a custom heads/cam package, custom tune, different pulley to up the boost along with a 100 shot of nitrous to make over 800 horsepower to the wheels. Outfitted with a set of drag radials this Caddy pulled off a 10.32 @ 136.7 MPH with a 1.64 60′ time. Hopefully their still working on the car and pushing to get in the 9’s, something we have yet to see from the AMG and M cars! Check out the pictures and video below:
