2015 Lamborghini Aventador 750-4 SV

March 4th, 2015

svThis raging bull, built with a carbon-fiber monocoque cabin, naturally aspirated V12 engine, and magneto-rheological front and rear suspension, may just be the most capable Lamborghini supercar ever built. Watch as this beautiful beast takes on a savage “S” curve and overcomes whatever obstacles are cast in its way.

The 2015 Aventador SV is a limited edition masterpiece outfitted with a 750-horsepower 60-degree V12 engine. Fuel delivery is via multi-port fuel injection and it features a dry sump oiling system. The transmission is a 7-speed ISR (with 3 different drive modes) connected to a Haldex Generation IV all-wheel drive system. Accelerating from 0 to 62 mph is accomplished in 2.8-seconds with a top speed of 217 mph.

The ultra-lightweight body is a carbon-fiber monocoque with aluminum front and rear frame rails. Other carbon-fiber elements include the front engine cover, rear spoiler, and the side air inlets. The front bonnet, doors, and front fenders are skillfully crafted from lightweight aluminum.

In case you were wondering, the “SV” stands for Superveloce.
