Lamborghini Battle: Aventador vs. Huracan

May 22nd, 2015

Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 OrangeTalk about a running of the bulls; these two Italian supercars not only represent Lamborghini but they also represent approximately $650,000 in rolling stock. The Lamborghini brand has always been tied to famous fighting bulls, with most models named after bulls that have performed particularly valiantly in the ring. Aventador fought in the rings of Saragossa, Spain in 1993 and Huracan fought in 1879. Huracan is also the Mayan word for the god of wind, storm, and fire.

The Aventador LP 700-4 boasts a 6.5-liter V12 engine (690HP) and a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission. The MSRP is around $400,000. The Huracan LP 610-4 is called an “entry-level” Lamborghini and costs an estimated $250,000. It has a 5.2-liter V10 engine (602HP) and 7-speed gearbox. Both cars are all-wheel drive and mid-engine powered. As you can see – and hear – in this video, these are two of the premier supercars in the world.
