Atomic Fusion Vette Makes 6-Second Pass at 220MPH 01Mark Carlyle is tearing up the record books with his beautiful burnt orange twin-turbo Corvette, called Atomic Fusion. This video shows him crushing it during the Import vs. Domestic World Cup Finals at the Maryland International Raceway. He also holds the world’s record for the LSX Drag Radial 1/4-Mile Class.

Powering the stylish Corvette is an all aluminum 7.0-liter Chevy small block with GRP, Ross, and Callie’s internals and All-Pro cylinder heads. Forced air induction is handled using a pair of Garrett GTX5518R turbochargers with Tial wastegates and blow-off valves. A Big Stuff 3 fuel management system keeps all the ducks in a row and tuning duties are handles by PTP Racing. An RPM TH400 transmission delivers the massive ponies to a set of 3.40:1 gears. Weld Racing wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson skins take over where the rubber meets the road.
