Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 SV vs Nissan GT-R HKS

May 3rd, 2010

Here is a great race between a Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 SV vs a Nissan GT-R with the HKS upgrade kit.  The Murcielago is stock with it’s V12 normally aspirated engine producing 670HP.  The Nissan GT-R with it’s V6 Twin Turbo engine has been modified to bring it from 485HP to around 600HP.   The LP670 SV checks in at just over $450,000 while the Nissan GT-R would run around $100k after the HKS additions.

The race is a bit surprising since we’ve seen quite a few Nissan GT-Rs with this kind of power running mid 10’s at around 135 MPH, we didn’t think the LP670 SV would pull as hard as it did as the only 1/4 mile run we have for the SV is 10.9 @ 129.4 MPH.  The first two races are hard to tell since the cars are so far apart, so make sure to see the last race when the run side by side.  The LP670 SV had a nice steady pull on the GT-R!
