The all new 2010 BMW X6M and BMW X5M come with a twin turbo V8 motor pumping out 555HP to all 4 wheels. This videos shows some GTEC 1/4 mile runs comparing the X6M against a Porsche Cayenne and Nissan GT-R. The X6M smokes the underpowered and overpriced Cayenne, but loses out to the Nissan GT-R by quite a bit.

The X6M is very quick and pulls hard and fast through the gears with a mediocre launch, 0-60 MPH comes up in just 4.1 seconds and it passes through the 1/4 mile 12.5 seconds at 111.47 MPH. We’re expecting to see some big horsepower results and times from these SUVs as well as the upcoming M5/M6 that are set to run this same motor next year. Just a simple tune and free flowing exhaust could net a 100HP pickup.
