This video is brought to us courtesy of KP Racing in Houston, Texas. It features Kelly Bise’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 during dyno testing. In factory trim the Z06 is legendary by any standard but this little cream-puff is extraordinary in its own right.

With a 427-cubic-inch Chevrolet LS engine, twin Pro-Mod 88-millimeter turbochargers, a 300-shot of nitrous, and a highly modified T56 transmission (with a custom-built 4-disc carbon-fiber clutch), Kelly has ambitions of claiming the Corvette record later this year during the Texas Mile event. If everything goes as planned, this car that is built specifically for the standing mile, could vie for the title of fastest “miler” in the next few years. By the way: this American beauty still has functioning climate control and Bluetooth connectivity.
