260 MPH COPO Camaro Texas Mile CarTake a gander at this awesome Texas Mile Car built as a collaborative effort by the crew at Nelson Racing Engines (NRE) and Brink Racecraft.

When a race car project begins with a brand-new COPO Camaro, it is usually going to morph into something amazing. This project certainly makes the grade. Add a massive 632-cubic-inch NRE big block, a pair of NRE Mirror Image 88-millimeter turbochargers, an NRE Alien intake manifold, and you have an elite level Texas Mile monster. This Chevy also has an intricate dry-sump oiling system with the reservoir in the trunk, dual fuel supply systems, and an elaborate air-to-water intercooler setup with a remote reservoir in the passenger compartment. This is an informative video of a meticulously and skillfully built 1-mile race car.
