Homerun Hitters Gather at The Belly – Small Tire No Prep Drags

May 8th, 2024

Infamous Yello Belly Dragstrip in Grand Prairie, Texas is one of the most maniacal amateur racing venues in the world. Well worn, loud, crowded and slippery fast, this dragstrip is known as a proving ground for up and coming No Prep Drag Racing talent. This is an environment that will either make or break a competitor. Tonight, with the help of 1320 Video, we take a look inside.

Up first is Steven Little in The Kraken Camaro. This no-nonsense Chevy is powered by a twin turbocharged 5.3-liter LS engine. Known for his campaigns against the Street Racing Channel crew, Steven is looking to hit the jackpot in the Homerun Derby by posting the fastest pass of the evening.

Next up is the Bank Robber. Masked in a cloak of mystery, this Fox Body Mustang is rocking a ProCharged V8 and claiming approximately 2,500hp. Question is: Can the Bank Robber get all that power to the ground on the slick surface at Yello Belly.

Not to be outdone, the Snot Racket Camaro is adding power prior to his first pass. A gorgeous green 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, the Snot Rocket has a 565 cubic-inch big block motor with an F3 136-millimeter ProCharger. Peak power for the Rocket is around 3,000hp.

With cars like this on the property, you know it’s going to be a wild night at The Belly. Buckle-up.
