Mitsubishi EVO X - Tuned - Road Test with Great Sound
This 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X was tuned by Mike Welch at Road Race Engineering and I was lucky enough to get the keys and have at it for a day of canyon carving.
I have never driven an all wheel drive car on the street and this experience has completely changed my perception of this type of vehicle. The perfect balance of the chassis combined with just enough power to make the scenery turn into a blur made me an absolute believer in the turbo AWD platform.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake - 750 Horsepower ROAD TEST
I was lucky enough to get the keys to this awesome car and wanted to share
my quick blast up this canyon road with any fellow gear heads. I'm just
your average car lover that happened upon this great opportunity to wheel
one of the fastest production Mustangs ever made! Chevy, Mopar or
Ford guys should appreciate this car...750 horsepower in a production
street car is flat-out cool. Unfortunately my lack of skills don't do this
car justice on the road...but this video will give you a taste of the
immense power, ferocious sounds and sexy yet menacing looks of this
American muscle car.

SEMA Car Show 2014 Highlights and Booth Girls Las Vegas
Here's a higlight reel from the 2014 SEMA Automotive Show in Las Vegas. I
made sure to include a few of the Booth Girls for good measure because what
is SEMA without them.
In this video we start out front to show the vast amount of displays, cars
and events going on and open to the general public.
SEMA has everything automotive...from classics to tuner cars and everything
in between. You'll see Danny Thompson's land speed racing car and the
Kindigit Designs restoration of the General Motors Futureliner plus the
Future Hot Rodders of America engine dis-assembly challenge.
Then its' inside the show for a taste of the vast array of booths, cars,
products and Booth girls. For those who are new to the show scene, many
manufacturers found the best way to get a dudes attention is to have a
barely dressed hot model standing in front of their product waving at them.
It works, well. So I tried not to seem like too much of a "perv" and
shoot some for you...see how much I do for the you tubers!
At the 1:39 mark you'll see the Pure Vision Designs "Black Ops" Ford
Fairlane. This is one of my favorite cars of the show and not just because
the guys over there are my friends. The level of detail in this car is
amazing and stay tuned to the autoedit you tube channel for a feature on
this car in the future.
Then it's on to more of the show and more Booth Models.

Ducati Monster Oil Change with Great Sounding Engine Revving
Here's a step by step video of an oil change on this 2002 Ducati Monster
750 motorcycle. Ever wonder how many quarts of oil to put into your Ducati
Monster? I'll explain what works for me and show the simple procedure to
maintain your bike. It usually takes a little over 3 quarts of oil
depending on what oil filter you use on your Ducati and show this in pretty
good detail in the video.
Plus at the end of the video I set the camera up to just record some of the
great sound this V twin bike makes and let it idle and give it a few good
revs. The dual Remus Grand Prix cans on this thing sound amazing so enjoy!
I will do a feature video cruising the Monster up a local canyon road on
this tired but great riding motorcycle in the future!
RC RallyCross Race Track Action Video - Traxxas Rally Car
This is the new Traxxas 1/10 scale RallyCross Car. I haven't raced RC cars
for quite some time...and this car is what brought me back!
Right out of the box, this thing is very competent. The included 7 Cell
NiMH battery is a nice start but this video was shot using a 2 Cell Lipo
for power and as you can see, it provides the Velineon brushless motor
system with plenty of juice to clear even the dreaded triple jump at this
track with no problem.
The 4WD system is very similar to the one in the Slash 4x4 but the chassis
and suspension mounts have been dramatically modified to create a much
lower center of gravity for an extreme improvement in high speed handling.
Plus, since the components are all from the almost bullet proof Slash
platform, this thing is tough. If you notice the front and rear body on
this model, I have beaten the crud out of this thing and haven't even
popped a shock cap off yet.
So if the Short Course truck phase of RC has worn thin and you are looking
for a refreshing change in 1/10th scale fun...for "out of the box"
awesomeness...the Traxxas Rally is a home run.

On Friday 11/16, the day after I shot this video, I ran a 10 minute main
event in the local club race and got third overall in a mixed class
including PRO4 trucks and 1/8 scale Nitro vehicles! Other than the Lipo
battery, the car was literally out of the box stock...I didn't change a
single suspension setting.
What happened when this Evo chased a Porsche?
The Smoking Tire heads out to Willow Springs International Raceway to test
a friend's Mitsubishi Evo X, tuned by Road Race Engineering. Is the Evo
quick enough to keep up with a Porsche 996 Cup Car? We'll see.....

Tuned by Chris Carbee of SloPoke Racing, I get the chance to drive and
shoot the Evo X of Virginia Beach known as "Nessa." Belonging to my good
friend Sean Khadaran, this Evo currently makes 530 WHP and will make 600+
by this weekend. The setup is good for 1000 WHP! After driving the evil Evo
8 Jasmine the day before, this was a much more laid back shoot. Thanks to

Here is phase 1.5 of tuning our re-built Lancer Evolution X Gsr for the
late 2010 racing season. This build consisted of replacing our stock
appearing blouch dominator 2.0 turbo
(which ran a best pass of 11.4 @ 122mph) with an Extreme turbo Systems Billet T3 PT67-65 turbo Kit. We also removed the entire long block
out of the car to be custom built to our specs with a full Cosworth Bottom
End. We are now using Cosworth Pistons, Rods, Bearings, Rings, and Head
Gasket. Gino, from Evolution Racing Engines in Amityville, Ny performed a
complete Port and Polish along with an extreme valve job to match GSC's S2
274/274 Camshafts high duration and lift. Furthermore, an AMS 600HP Fuel
System was customized by us in utilizing Twin External/In-Line Bosch 044
Fuel Pumps feeding a -8 Feed and Return line to an AMS Fuel Pressure
Regulator Kit and AMS Fuel Rail feeding Fuel Injector Clinics 2150 c.c
Injectors. We also decided to purchase an Exedy Twin HD Re-Build kit to
freshen up our clutch which had numerous mid-11 second passes at
EnglishTown, Race Way Park.
Last but not least, The new Tial Q 50mm Blow Off Valve replaced the stock
metal valve which starts leaking at the 27psi marker. We have now
successfully maxed out the stock factory MAF Housing which registers 4.99
Volts from Peak Boos/Torque to our Red-Line of 10,000rpm. The stock factory
MAP Sensor also caps itself out at 33.4psi. We are upgrading to an Omni
4-Bar map sensor to run upwards of 50psi in hopes to max out our Precision
T3 Billet 67-65 turbo and achieve an
absolute minimum of 825whp. Our conclusion for the 2010 Racing Season
motivates us to become a few World Record Holders consisting of: The
World's Highest HP Evo X Gsr with the Stock ECU, Stock MAF, and E-85 Fuel.
Lastly, we are motivated to become The World's Fastest and Quickest Evo X

thanks to its very smart drivetrain. On top of that drivetrain sits an
utterly terrible tin can of a body and an interior that seems to come with
the chassis for free. Enter racer Ryan Gates. He's been competing in Evo's
for years, and decided that he wants to build a better Evo. So he's
improved just about everything on the car. We try to do a full test of it
at Monticello Motor Club, but it doesn't exactly go as planned. Is the
