2001 Camaro Z28 vs 2011 Mustang GT 5.0
My 2001 Camaro Z28 has an SLP Lid and SLP LM1 cat-back Exhaust, a 4 speed automatic with 2.73's, 67,000 miles. My friend's 2011 Mustang GT (5.0) is completely stock, a 6 speed manual, with about 20,000 miles. First race: Dig, Mustang misses 3rd gear. Second race: Dig, Mustang short shifts 3rd gear. 3rd race: 30MPH roll. 4th race: 25MPH roll. At the end of the race my friend confesses that he also left his traction control on. 3200hp MONSTER Turbo Camaro!?!?
Did he just say 3,200 horsepower?! With a 622 cubic inch motor powered by TWO 98mm turbos, we'd believe it! Talk about managing power on an UN-PREPPED track!!! With a combination of driving skills, and proper tuning, this 3rd Gen Camaro has a MONSTROUS power plant under the hood and the car & driver are about as consistent as it gets for pushing up to 3,200hp, but we’re guessing it was turned down quite a bit for this no prep race. Even the championship race looked like a first round elimination!! We loved filming this car and hearing the deafening 98mm turbos spool seconds before the front wheels took flght! Congrats to the driver and crew and best wishes to them at future grudge races! ------------------------------------ 1320Video Gear ► http://www.1320video.com/shop/ Facebook ► http://facebook.com/1320videos Instagram ► https://instagram.com/1320video/ Twitter ► https://twitter.com/1320video Submit your video to us ►http://goo.gl/forms/TbQPwl9qFq
