8th Gen Accord 1/4 mile runs, 6speed vs auto.
Auto ended up almost 2 second slower on a quarter mile. 6speed has an air intake and heavy 20' wheels, automatic (got german plates on the front) has full Exhaust, intake and 2 12' subs in the trunk. DIY: Wrapping Rims in Matte Black Vinyl
I wanted to try a new style for my winter rims, and instead of pinting them i wrapped them in vinyl, Costs about $10 a rim. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/321097538225 This short video shows you how to wrap a rim quickly(sped up 3x), There really is no downfall to doing this, faster and cheaper then painting, the vinyl only weighs .4 ounces or about 50 grams. and thats spread out throughout the rim and if you dont like it then just peal it off. The sequel to the Icon original video: Motorcycle vs. Car Drift Battle - Nick 'Apex' Brocha is back and this time he brought his Empire teammate, Ernie Vigil. The two are mounted on a pair of crackling Triumph Speed Triples - built by Roaring Toyz for the sole purpose of going sideways. Over the last year their quest to find the ultimate drifting playground has led them to the rolling hills of High Plains County. Low traffic, perfect asphalt and endless twisties have kept them busy resurfacing roads with their rear tires for weeks. The only problem is the local authorities have had enough. Enter Police Officer Dan Brockett, the only man with the muscle to keep these two in sight. His 550 horsepower Ford Mustang Cobra was built for speed and he's got a license to use it...
