BMW 535i xDrive Gran Turismo "Warm Up"

Our tester BMW 535i xDrive Gran Turismo arrived with all season tires. Not a problem, unless your test is taking it to Sun Peaks Ski Resort in BC's interior in the winter. So, OutDrive.ca took the car on a wee warm up to see if the xDrive will hold it's own on ice.

2010 BMW 550i GT Gran Turismo Review
http://www.autosofpalmbeach.com/ Sophisto Grey Brilliant Effect Metallic 2010 BMW 550i Gran Turismo with Navigation, Sport Package, Luxury Rear Seating Package, Convenience Package, Cold Weather Package, Camera Package, and Satellite Radio. With its unmistakable shape, world-class BMW engineering, and fantastic features, this is the car that anyone concerned with comfort, looks, and performance will love to drive. And further, as a 2010 model it has a long and fun life ahead of it with you behind the wheel. Let's take a closer look at your new 550i GT. EXTERIOR: The exterior of the Gran Turismo is coated in unique and stunning SOPHISTO GREY BRILLIANT EFFECT METALLIC paint. As the name implies, the paint color has a brilliant sparkle, especially in the sunlight. It is able to achieve this effect with no detractions because of scrapes or unsightly scratches. BMW is known for making powerful and reliable engines, and the monster under the hood of this 550i GT is no exception. Your new car boasts a 4.4L DI twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 400 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. As you would expect of any BMW bearing the 550i badge, you really feel the power when your foot presses the gas pedal. All of this ability sets your 550i at 21 highway MPG. You'll love the driving dynamics control with its three different settings: normal, sport, or sport+ depending on how you want your ride to feel. As mentioned before, this beautiful car is equipped with the sport package which includes 20" sport wheels, wrapped in low profile Goodyear tires (in excellent condition). The auto-dimming power mirrors are in great working condition, as are the rain-sensing windshield wipers which turn on automatically when it starts to rain. Xenon headlights outfit the front of the car as do halogen fog lights to help you see no matter the weather. You will love the bi-modal power trunk which can be opened in two different ways: either as a hatchback or completely open as a trunk. Don't forget that since this is a 2010 model BMW, it still has the remainder of its four year/50,000 mile basic and powertrain warranties good until December 2013. INTERIOR: If you think your family room is comfortable, it's about to get some serious competition. The interior of the 550i is decked in very nice BLACK leather upholstery complemented by wood trim. There are no unpleasant odors in the vehicle. The 20-way power sport front multi-contour bucket seats feel comfortable and and can be adjusted to fit you perfectly. The rear seats are even mulit-adjustable. To also assist you with that is tri-zone automatic climate control with auto air circulation and other great functions. As even further help, the car has the cold weather package which not only gives you a heated steering wheel, but also heated front and rear seats. Our goal is to make sure the overall condition of the car is as close to new as possible. This means a full detail that includes polishing any light scratches and professionally touching up chips. All dings are professionally removed. While our cars are close-to-new, keep in mind that they are pre-owned and may show some signs of wear. We will be more than happy to go over the car panel-by-panel with you on the phone for extra details. Also, think of the great savings you will have with this purchase. The MSRP for this car new just a little while ago was over $82,000 with its great features! Now, a few short months later, you can invest in a pre-owned car in great shape for much less. Enjoy the best of automotive comfort without compromising performance with your new 2010 BMW 550i Gran Turismo!

BMW 5 Series GT 2013 review - CarBuyer
BMW 5 GT 2014 full review: http://bit.ly/wBlyd3 Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb The BMW 5 Series GT was supposedly a car designed without compromise -- to offer the space of a 7 Series but the dynamics of a 5 Series. However, in reality, the cumbersome BMW doesn't drive very well and has a smaller boot than the 5 Series saloon. From the back seats, though, it offers unrivalled comfort and a commanding view of the road -- and if you opt for the four-seat Executive package, you get a pair of reclining rear seats allowing ultimate comfort on longer journeys. Looks divide opinion, and even in sporty M Sport trim the boxy dimensions and high roofline look awkward. Avoid the large petrol motors, though, and the 5 GT should be relatively affordable to run.
