Slideshow of build and preparation of Ford Escort MK11 Gp4 for local customer. All seamed welding, fitted with Safety Devices cage, BDG 2 litre engine, dry sumped, Goodrich fitting and hoses. All normal GP4 requirements.
2.1 pinto alloy head test engine
THis engine was a test for the new alloy heads to check flow rates and outputs. full engine spec is as follows. alloy pinto head by burton power, kent gts4 cam, gp1 valves,93mm acralite pistons, std cosworth yb crankshaft, std yb rods. 11.0-1 comp ratio, ft295k ignition kit, weber 48 dco/sp carbs with 40mm chokes.rs2000 alloy sump, hp/hc oil pump. 197bhp built by Guy Turner of BURTON POWER, tested by Steve Greenald of Race Engine Calibration.
