Mom's reaction to launching a 2013 Subaru STi
So I picked up my mom from the airport the other day.. Drove home very conservatively, in Intelligent mode the whole time, never going over 2 psi of Boost. When we were close to home she says to me, "meh this car isn't nearly as fast as I thought." I said nothing. Today, I showed her how 'not fast' the car really is.

MNSubaru 2010 Ice Races - One lap of the right course short the stuck car
This is a vid of me driving on the right course. This is about an 85% plus run, keeping the car tidy and the run clean. This was a mid day run, and once the sun hit the course, the icy spots had about half the grip they did morning or dusk. The couple slow spots show just how slick the ice was.
The tires used are Continental ExtremeWinterContact, aka Viking Contact 5 in other parts of the world. These tires have exceptional grip on snow and rough ice, average on slick ice.
