1999 Mercury Cougar V6 uncontrolled acceleration
Here is the strange problem that has plagued my car for a while now. I have replaced the IACV and TPS and it didn't fix it. EDIT 2: The problem ended up being the TPS wiring rubbing on the water pump belt. Fixed the frayed wiring and moved it, and it never did this again. EDIT: I believe I found the problem. One of the bolts holding the EGR to the UIM was broken off, and was allowing a vacuum leak around the EGR where it wasn't sealed down tight. I've got a new UIM coming, and will update if that fixes my problem!

1999 Mercury Cougar 3L Turbo Dyno Runs
Preliminary Dyno runs in my 1999 turbo 3L Mercury Cougar. The turbo is a Precision SC-61 and the turbo kit is home made using a TiAL 50mm BOV and TiAL 38mm wastegate and all 304SS tubing.

I've had a few people ask for it, so here's some in-car video of my new Exhaust. John, aka Predator, shot the video while I was driving. It sounds even crazier from the drivers seat, I can literally hear the "rush" of air coming out of the Exhaust. Sounds mean as hell though, thats for sure!
