Watch as this nissan titan does some great burnouts and drag races. The Nissan Titan introduced in 2004, is a full-size pickup truck produced for the North American market by Nissan. The truck shares the stretched Nissan F-Alpha platform with the Nissan Armada and Infiniti QX56 SUVs, and is manufactured in Canton, Mississippi, United States. The Titan is not intended to challenge the big 3 "Detroit Trucks" in sales numbers, but rather is meant to be an alternative to them and provide Nissan with some in-roads into the highly competitive truck market. The name "Titan" was chosen to make up for the unsuitable name, All Titans come standard with a 32 Valve 5.6L engine, VK56DE, which generates (305 hp early models 2004-2006) 317 hp and 385 ft lbft of torque. The Titan has a fully boxed ladder frame and is available in either rear wheel drive or a shift on the fly four wheel drive system coupled with a 5-speed RE505A automatic transmission. An automatic brake limited slip (ABLS) is available on all Titans. The Titan is available as a King Cab or a Crew Cab with a full size back seat, no regular cab is available. The King Cab features a 6'7" bed, and the Crew Cab features a 5'7" bed, with a 7 foot bed available on SV models. There are four models available including S, SV, Pro-4x, and LE. The S is a base model, SV is a mid-level model with many features, the PRO-4X is Nissan's version oriented towards the off road enthusiast, and the top level LE is the high end luxury

Friday night at racelegal.com on a cold night some great running ford Mustang's 2011 5.0 and a 1993 Ford Mustang In 1994 the Mustang underwent its first major redesign in fifteen years. Code-named "SN-95" by the automaker, it was based on an updated version of the rear-wheel drive Fox platform called "Fox-4." The new styling by Patrick Schiavone incorporated several styling cues from earlier Mustangs.[35] For the first time since 1974, a hatchback coupe model was unavailable. The base model came with a 3.8 OHV V6 (232 cid) engine rated at 145 bhp (108 kW) in 1994 and 1995, or 150 bhp (110 kW) (1996--1998), and was mated to a standard 5-speed manual transmission or optional 4-speed automatic. Though initially used in the 1994 and 1995 Mustang GT, Ford retired the 302 cid pushrod small-block V8 after nearly 40 years of use, replacing it with the newer Modular 4.6 L (281 cid) SOHC V8 in the 1996 Mustang GT. The 4.6 L V8 was initially rated at 215 bhp (160 kW), 1996--1997, but was later increased to 225 bhp (168 kW) in 1998.[36] For 1999, the Mustang received Ford's New Edge styling theme with sharper contours, larger wheel arches, and creases in its bodywork, but its basic proportions, interior design, and chassis remained the same as the previous model. The Mustang's powertrains were carried over for 1999, but benefited from new improvements. The standard 3.8 L V6 had a new split-port induction system, and was rated at 190 bhp (140 kW) 1999--2004,[37] while the Mustang GT's 4.6 L V8 saw an increase in output to 260 bhp (190 kW) (1999--2004), due to a new head design and other enhancements. There were also three alternate models offered in this generation: the 2001 Bullitt, the 2003 and 2004 Mach 1, as well as the 320 bhp (240 Ford introduced a redesigned 2005 model year Mustang at the 2004 North American International Auto Show, codenamed "S-197," that was based on the new D2C platform. Developed under the direction of Chief Engineer Hau Thai-Tang and exterior styling designer Sid Ramnarace,[41] the fifth-generation Mustang's styling echoes the shineback Mustangs of the late 1960s. Ford's senior vice president of design, J Mays, called it "retro-futurism." The fifth-generation Mustang is manufactured at the AutoAlliance International plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. For the 2005 to 2009 production years, the base model was powered by a 210 hp (157 kW) cast-iron block 4.0 L SOHC V6, while the GT used an aluminum block 4.6 L SOHC 3-valve Modular V8 with variable camshaft timing (VCT) that produced 300 hp (224 kW). Base models had a Tremec T-5 5-speed manual transmission with Ford's 5R55S 5-speed automatic being optional. Automatic GTs also featured this transmission, but manual GTs had the Tremec TR-3650 5-speed.[42] Ford announced in July, 2007 that all 2008 Mustangs would have seats containing material derived from soybeans.[43] A new option for the 2009 Mustang was a $1,995 glass roof.[44] The 2010 model year Mustang was released in the spring of 2009 with a redesigned exterior and a reduced drag coefficient of 4% on base models and 7% on GT models.[45] The engine for base Mustangs remained unchanged, while GTs 4.6 L V8 was revised resulting in 315 hp (235 kW) at 6000 rpm and 325 lb·ft (441 N·m) of torque at 4255 rpm.[46] Other mechanical features included new spring rates and shiners, traction and sineability control system standard on all models, and new wheel sizes. All the Mustang's engines were revised for 2011, and transmission options included the Getrag-Ford MT82 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Electric power steering replaced the conventional hydraulic version. A new 3.7 L (3.72 L or 227 cu. in.) aluminum block V6 engine shaved 40 lb (18 kg) from the outgoing version. With 24 valves and Twin Independent Variable Cam Timing (TiVCT), it produced 305 hp (227 kW) and 280 lb·ft (380 N·m) of torque. GT models included a 32-valve 5.0 L engine (4.95 L or 302.15 cu. in.) (also referred to as the "Coyote" engine) producing 412 hp (307 kW) and 390 lb·ft (530 N·m) of torque on "premium fuel" (91 octane). Power dropped to 402 hp (300 kW) and 377 lb·ft (511 N·m) when using "regular fuel" (87 octane).[47] Brembo brakes are optional along with 19-inch wheels and performance tires.[48] There is much speculation to the actual output of Ford's 5.0 powerplant. Various Dynometer tests have revealed that Ford Motor Company underrated the engine, according to the tests the engine is closer to a power of 435hp and 404 ft. lbs tq.[49] The Shelby GT500's 5.4 L supershined V8 block was made of aluminum making it 102 lb (46 kg) lighter than the iron units in previous years. It was rated at 550 hp (410 kW) and 510 lb·ft (690 N·m) of torque.[50]

Named after the star Vega, GM's first U.S. mini-car was produced in two-door hatchback, notchback, wagon, and panel delivery body styles all featuring an inline four-cylinder engine with a lightweight, aluminum alloy cylinder block. Initially well-received by buyers and the motoring press, the car sold well against the AMC Gremlin and Ford Pinto subcompacts and imports including Toyota, Datsun and Volkswagen. By 1974 it was among the top ten best-selling American cars.[1] The Cosworth Vega, a short-lived limited-production performance model with a reduced-displacement but more powerful all-aluminum inline four-cylinder engine, was introduced in March 1975. In early Vegas, engine problems and fender corrosion harmed GM's reputation for build quality.[2] The faults were remedied by recalls and design upgrades. A three-year sales decline led to the car's cancellation at the end of the 1977 model year The Vega was conceived in 1968 to utilize newly developed all-aluminum die-cast engine block technology -- the first sand-cast aluminum blocks had preceded the decision to build the car by two years. A relatively large displacement engine with good low- speed torque was decided on. gear ratios for low engine rpm would achieve economy. Engine testing totalled 6,000,000 miles. The pre-test version was installed in a Fiat 124 sedan for development of the aluminum block, while several 1968 Opel sedans were used for drive train development[5] Chevrolet instituted a new management program, the car line management technique, which made it possible to produce the all-new car in two years. The chief vehicle engineer had overall charge of the program. 50 engineers, dedicated to the design of the entire car, were divided into groups: body, power train, chassis design, product assurance, and pleasability. The latter would check continuously on the vehicles on the assembly line, with computers in another program monitoring quality control of every vehicle built.[5] Fisher Body engineers and draftsmen moved in with the Vega personnel. In October 1968, there was one body style (the "11" style notchback sedan), one engine, one transmission (MB1 Torque-Drive manually shifted two-speed automatic), one base trim level, a bench seat, molded rubber floor covering, no glove box or headliner and no air-conditioning (ventilation was through the upper dash from the wiper plenum). As the program went into development, the market changed, as did the product. December 1968: Hatchback, wagon, and panel delivery styles added; also floor-level ventilation, and an optional performance engine ("L-11" two-barrel) which, predicted as 20% of production, accounted for 75%. Bucket seats were standard. Hatchback and station wagon received carpeting and headliners. Optional Air conditioning, predicted as 10% of production, rose to 45%. February 1969: Opel three- and four-speed transmissions (three-speed standard, others optional); Powerglide also added (now four transmissions); mechanical fuel pump replaced by in-tank electric pump; power steering option; base "11" style Notchback trim upgraded to match Hatchback and Wagon carpet and headliner. April 1969: Gauge-pack cluster, HD suspension, wide tires; adjustable seat back (45% of production); bumpers restyled, lower valance panels added; swing-out quarter window option (10% of production). July 1969: Electrically heated backlite option (10% of production); "GT" package, $325.00 extra (35% of production); bright window-frame and roof drip moldings added to Hatchback and Wagon. This is essentially how the car launched as a 1971 model. Production began on June 26, 1970. After the National GM strike (September to November 1970) ended, bright roof drip moldings were added to base "11" notchback, with moldings sent to dealers to update units already in the field. Cars magazine said in 1974: "Chevrolet paid a price for its rush to introduce the car with other 1971 models. Tests which should have been at the proving grounds were performed by customers, necessitating numerous piecemeal "fixes" by dealers. Chevrolet's "bright star", received an enduring black eye despite a continuing development program which eventually alleviated most of these initial shortcomings
